CAVEMAN Poems { World’s End }
Darkness blankets all it surrounds.
Killing light softly producing no sounds.
Nightmarish shadows lurks Evil’s best friend.
Legions so mighty no chance to defend.
Dekays ugly stench floats on the breeze.
Brings mere mortals down to the knees.
People of faith reach to the skies.
Waiting response, mercy pleading cries.
Earth’s magnetic poles savagely torn asunder.
Frigid icy grasp pulling all under.
Unearthly demonic creatures void of faces.
With a single blow annihilate entire races. Complete genocide fulfills fiendish lust. Spinning Little Rock crumbles to dust.

Has a bit of an Edgar Allan Poe vibe to it. I like it a lot. “Frigid icy grasp pulling all under.” This line sure is appropriate for us Canadians right about now. We’re scampering about in frigid, Arctic air today. As I said, very timely.

Thank you, Jack! I will share your comment with him, and I will be posting more of his poems.
I’m not too far from Canada, but The States never experience the arctic conditions that most of Canada does! Free health-care isn’t quite enough to lure me into being a full time Canuck.
I am enjoying your blog, too. Thank you for introducing yourself.
