Matt Shaw’s 200th Kindle Release!

A new horror to sink your teeth into...

The

TASTE

of the food he’d cooked her was divine. When she told him, over their many online messages, what her favourite three course meal was – she never expected him to cook it for her and yet, that was exactly what he had done. Sitting opposite her, he watched her enjoy every mouthful despite not wanting any food for himself. A man content with the glass of red before him: A liquid dinner. Normally she would feel uncomfortable with a relative stranger watching her eat, but the food was so good that she didn’t care. Anyway, she knew this was her treat… Just as what he had coming for himself – as soon as she was done eating – would be his treat, not that he hurried her to finish. He was happy to wait. He knew

all good things come to those who wait

Have you read PLENTY OF FREAKS? OMG, Poor Matt could have ended up in so many of his stories!

To meTASTE feels like a re-imagining of the 2001 ‘Love Cannibalism’ case involving Armin Meiwes & Bernd Brandes.   Details on THAT are below… heh heh heh…

Like the rest of the White Cover collection, this short story is intended for those who want a quick read before bed, or members of Kindle Unlimited. If you’re looking for something longer, please try any of the Black Cover Range.

Warning: Strong sexual content.

See below for details on Armin Meiwes & Bernd Brandes –

THE FUNERAL: An Extremely Twisted SHORT STORY by Matt Shaw

“Before a funeral, there needs to be a death.”

The Funeral. cover

⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆

WARNING:

This is A SHORT STORY. It is intended for KU members who have been requesting short, sick, bedtime stories. As part of KU they are able to download this title for free.  If you wish for a longer story to read, do not purchase any of the F*cked-Up Shorts titles.  A good place to start would be The Black Cover Books (for lovers of extreme horror).

* What doesn’t kill you fucks you up mentally. *

The Funeral deals with grief, loss and redemption.
“You can expect twists & turns – be ready to feel a wide range of emotion.”
Never has a truer sentence been written.
Jason is a character that I can relate to.
He’s going through a bad time in his life right now. He is consumed with destructive thoughts, and wrestling with personal demons. Throughout the entire story I found myself laughing at one sentence, close to tears in the next sentence, and nodding my head in agreement at another.
Jason answers a late night phone call that gives him an ‘unexpected distraction’ from his self destructive thoughts, and it’s time for our second ride on that roller coaster!
It is so easy to see parts of myself in Jason, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who will feel this way.

I often find myself wondering if parts of certain stories are based on real events in the author’s life. I did that a lot in this book, especially when Jason thought about moments of happiness that the he shared with his mom. (Matt – go hug your mom!) Not every memory is a great one, there are regrets – just like real life.

The ending was a very unexpected script twist! Trust me… this is one that you wont see coming.

*BONUS POINTS for the ‘failed gas oven suicide attempt’!!
(Depression + OCD = hilarity!)
*EVEN MORE BONUS POINTS for Jason’s reasons to pass on each method on the internet’s ‘top ten’ list.

SNUFF: A F*cked Up Short by Matt Shaw

 ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆

WARNINGS:

“This is A SHORT STORY. It is intended for the members of Kindle Unlimited who have been requesting short, sick, bedtime stories. As part of Kindle Unlimited they are able to download this title for free. If you wish for a longer story to read, please do not purchase any of the ‘F*cked-Up Shorts’. ”

SNUFF is loosely based on Dan Brownlie‘s idea for a faux snuff film (‘2 Girls, 1 Victim’ – screenplay also written by Matt Shaw).

Expect twists galore and sheer brutality!

Nikki and Jamie have taken SNUFF mainstream* – serving up punishment when the court system fails, and vigilante justice has never been sexier!

*Well, as mainstream as you can be online without getting caught. There are actually only a select few who know of the show, each member personally invited.

Tonight’s episode of ‘Two Girls, One Victim’ has a very special guest – a rapist named Jack Goodall. Specific tools chosen just for the guest of honor are laid out,  and gleaming under the set’s lights. Pliers, a hammer, nails, screws, hacksaws, piano wire, rope, duct tape, an adult sex-toy, and what appeared to be a small bottle of lube. Things might get messy, and the members are definitely going to get their money’s worth from this show!

You can find Snuff: An Extreme Horror SHORT STORY
on Amazon, and Goodreads.

TED: A F*cked Up Short by Matt Shaw

“Today was a good day.” ~ Ted

COVER.Shaw.TED⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆

WARNINGS:

This is A SHORT STORY. If you wish for a longer story to read, do not purchase any of the F*cked-Up Shorts titles.

“TED is an extreme character.  He is a racist, ignorant piece of shit. The views he expresses within this story DO NOT reflect the views of the author.  And fear not, he hets what he deserves in ROTTING DEAD F*CKS.” ~ms

“TED is featured heavily in ROTTING DEAD F*CKS by Matt Shaw.  You don’t need to read R.D.F.  first. This is a standalone short offering more from the character.”

Since the books in the White Cover Collection are short stories, I can’t go into a lot of detail without fear of ruining them for you.  It’s not just about giving away the ending – there is so much awesome jam packed into each short that I don’t want to give much of anything away!!

I do know that Matt has verified my reservation in Hell with this story!
Yeah, Ted is a piece of human garbage, but some of his attempts at humor, (and some of his attempts at humanity), had me giggling like a kid who is secretly listening to his grandparent’s Red Foxx albums in the basement!  Wrong on so many levels.
But… before you judge me, let me try to explain using the cat joke (which also had me laughing, heartily) here as an example. I would never hurt an animal. Ever. I know, for a fact, that Matt is an animal lover. He has a cat named Nellie, a lizard named Larry, and doesn’t even like to kill spiders – even though there isn’t much in the world that he hates more than the eight legged freaks.  (I swear that I’m not a stalker. This comes from years of being friends on Facebook, and an indepth author interview here on BBBB. Honest.)  So – when I learned how to make a cat go ‘woof’… I accidentally giggled before I made an audible groan at the bad joke.  THAT DOESN’T MEAN THAT I THINK THAT WAY, and it doesn’t mean that I would ever try to make a cat go ‘woof’. But, it was kinda funny.
So are some of Ted’s thoughts.

Ted’s not ALL bad. Mostly. But not all.  He did leave me with a couple pieces of wisdom…
“If she thinks so little of herself, how am I expected to think highly of her?” ~ Ted
“For all we know, I am the sane one and it’s everyone else who has a serious case of the ‘fuck-ups’.”
~ Ted
“Just a hooker. Another dead hooker.” ~ Ted

As an added surprise… I also learned about many different weird and wonderful sex acts that a lot of people have no idea about! I’ll admit that I did already know what The Donkey Punch is, (don’t judge me!), but The Strawberry Shortcake, and The Alabama Hot Pocket were new!! I’ve also noticed a reoccurring ‘trick’ that has popped up in a couple of the Fucked Up Shorts! Do with that information what you will – I just made a mental note of it.

I’m enjoying the books in the White Cover Collection. Chances are… if you’re already a fan of Matt, you’ll enjoy them, too.

You can meet TED through Amazon, and Goodreads.
