Keven Strange kicks off the event with his dystopian fantasy novelette THE HUMANS UNDER THE BED. It’s been described as “Monsters, Inc. meets Full Metal Jacket if directed by David Cronenberg.”

cover-2

500 years after monsters wiped out the human race, a quiet calm has settled over the population of nightmare creatures that go bump in the night. They work their monster jobs, raise their monster families, tend to their monster homes, and generally enjoy the peace and prosperity of life without their sworn enemies, the human scourge, that so blighted the land for so many centuries.
In fact, the only inhabitants of this new monster world that even still speak of human kind are the children who share hushed secret fairy tales about evil humans coming up from underneath their beds, pulling the little monsters to their deaths. But of course these are just stories. Of course all the awful humans are dead. Or are they?

Win a bundle of books!!

Published February 13, 2014 by Shadow Girl

I’m really excited – giddy even! Tee-hee!!
BeckisBookBlog is about to hit 10,000 views! 46 hits away!
That’s HUGE to a lil ole blogger like me! It makes me feel all squishy inside…

This is what 10,000 views feels like!

It calls for a celebration, doesn’t it? I think so!
You guys helped this blog about books reach these numbers, so we’re going to celebrate by giving away books!

Contest2

I don’t think I can sit here and pin point the exact 10,000th person to land here, so I’m going to ask a question. The first person to answer correctly in the comments will win a book bundle!
The bundles are being provided by Chris Robertson and Story Bundle. Anyone who doesn’t win the free bundle(s) can check it out here. $3.00 gets you the bundle, or $10.00 gets you all seven books, and you can choose how much of it goes to charity.

BENEFITS OF BUYING BUNDLES…
❤ Pay what you want! You choose how much you want to pay for these four awesome books. You decide how much of your purchase goes to the author and how much goes to help keep StoryBundle running. If your purchase price beats $10, you get three bonus novels – Death Dreams Deluxe by Chris Robertson, The Charters Duology by Matthew Wayne Selznick (which is actually two books in one), and Hollow World by Michael J. Sullivan!

❤ Zero DRM. There’s no DRM on any of SB’s books. None. Why? For one, they don’t believe DRM actually stops people from sharing what they want to share. Second, and most importantly, they don’t believe we should be treating their customers as criminals. So go ahead and put these on your tablets, Kindles and smartphones, but if a friend wants to read the bundle, please have them buy one for themselves. With pay-what-you-want, there’s a price for everyone. Or better yet, buy one for them as a gift. Help support indie authors!

❤ Support nonprofits. Best of all, you can also give a portion of the proceeds from each bundle to charity. For this bundle they’re featuring both Girls Write Now and MightyWriters. To learn more about these charities and those they help, click the “Learn More” link next the charities when you purchase.

❤ Easy delivery. It’s super convenient to get these ebooks onto your reader of choice—just download and sync. Better yet, if you have a Kindle or Kindle-enabled tablet or smartphone, they can send the books directly to your device. No computer required.

Check out previous bundles HERE.

NOW’S YOUR CHANCE TO WIN THIS BUNDLE
