During a business trip to Uruguay, Nathan Reed’s commercial airline is caught in a powerful storm over the Amazon Jungle. The plane crashes somewhere along the Brazilian-Peruvian border, leaving a handful of survivors stranded in the rainforest. They race to find potable water, medical supplies, and safe shelter. Their fight for survival intensifies when they are targeted by a mysterious group of uncontacted people in the Amazon…

Jon Athan, the author of Cannibal Creek and City of Hunger, welcomes you to Cannibal Jungle in this violent, suspenseful survival-horror novel. Can you survive this gory journey?

Can you survive this gory journey? Well, it was a hard cock to suck at times, let me tell ya!

This is another one that I didn’t scoop up on it’s release date, (that doesn’t happen much anymore, I’ve learned my lesson!)
I was happily engrossed right away, though, and this was a much more enjoyable story than I anticipated. It seemed like not one person in the world wanted these people to survive. At every turn there was something new creeping about and wanting them dead. It was a little disheartening at times. This isn’t just another typical cannibal story. It’s new – a fresh story, original ways to torture and still more ways to die! But, beware… it’s full of emotions that you won’t expect to feel, but can’t help it.

Jon Athan is an extreme horror author who will drag you through the feels.

You start wondering why your cheeks appear to be sweating at times! Edging on panic attacks, and other very physical reactions come with this author.

A couple notes from the Kindle…

“Help! I can’t breathe! I can’t breathe! Meryl! Meryl, honey! I can’t breathe! Please, Lord, help me!”

– This little old man in the plane crash, begging his wife for help, broke my heart. OMG… I’m trying not to cry in the first chapter of an extreme horror story…

Yup. I looked it up. New nightmare fuel, thank you very much, sir.

From Author’s notes: I’d love to write a story about Kuchisake-onna, also known as ‘The Slit-Mouthed Woman.’ I’ve been thinking about writing an extreme horror anthology about urban legends. I’d love to hear your opinion on that.

I know the CreepyPasta, but I could definitely get into a full story. I can already feel the influence of your visits overseas, so I believe you will do it right!
