Quoting William Wallace from a top 5 movie ever:
Every man dies, not every man truly lives.
I think that death can start for people long before they cease to live. And in that vein, do we ever truly cease to live? Or do we forever live on in the hearts and brains of those we have touched?
A person who has stopped trying to be, can be thought of as dead.
Conversely, a person who has died can live on in their children and whatnot.
This is a great thought-forcer.
I’m not even going to bother going into the religion fanatics ways of thinking.
Although it IS a cute thought that we get to live forever in some magical place if we’ve given our minds and lives to some unproven entity that may or may not exist.
